Summary
Seven years taking hardware from a napkin sketch to the production line.
I’m a mechanical design engineer with a software habit. I model parts in SolidWorks and CATIA, prove them out with FEA and CFD, and work hand in hand with machinists and molders so the design survives contact with the shop floor.
When a task repeats, I write code for it: Python tools that generate drawings, run simulation sweeps overnight, and turn test-rig data into reports.

Experience
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer · Acme Robotics
2022 – Present · Manila- Lead mechanical design of a 6-axis arm end effector, from concept through PPAP
- Own FEA and fatigue analysis for load-bearing structures (ANSYS Mechanical)
- Wrote Python tooling that runs parametric simulation sweeps and flags failing designs
- Reduced machining cost 22% through DFM reviews with suppliers
Mechanical Engineer · Globex Manufacturing
2019 – 2022 · Cebu- Designed injection-molded enclosures and sheet-metal chassis for IoT devices
- Ran CFD thermal studies that removed a cooling fan from the final product
- Built a test-rig DAQ dashboard (Python + React) used on the production line
Engineering Intern · Initech Industrial
2018 – 2019 · Laguna- Created fixtures and jigs for the CNC cell; detailed drawings to ASME Y14.5
